A REMINDER

 I had written this poem around 3 years back. But I don't know why; I feel that the message in this poem is something that we all need to remind ourselves of; on daily basis.

Yes we have grown up; we have our set of responsibilities; we have goals to be achieved and dreams to be fulfilled. But don't we need to remember those; whose responsibilities; goals and dreams are all connected to us? In the process of living your life; donot forget your PARENTS; who have actually given this life to you!

A REMINDER

Just for the sake that our future may shine,

We stay busy and our parents say, "We are fine".

While succeeding; we count on the things we gain,

But behind the success; there is a hidden pain.

We say; we are busy and have less time,

Slowly then the relations sublime.

Just not to forget that the life we take pride on,

Is a priceless gift from our parents and so respect them thereon.
