The Farewell Poem

Today, I am going to share here my first ever INSTANT POEM; which i had written on the last day of my school.

I clearly remember that day of 2012 which was officially our last day at school. We had arranged a small farewell party in our classroom and had invited all the teachers. All of a sudden one of my friend came up to me with a paper and a pen and told me to write something for our teachers; within one or two minutes.
Well; I had no idea what to do and I just gave words to the feelings i had at that moment.

Here is that short and simple Instant poem:

The Farewell Poem

We entered the school as toddlers,

And now we are running out.

We entered the school and learnt ABCD,

And now we are writing our heart out.

We entered the school with tears,

We had some fears.

Now too; we are leaving with tears,

But these are of parting fears.

We learnt a lot from you,

But still our world is small and only with you.
